According to Bosch’s uncle, Doctor Marlin Mckay, the neurosurgeon has assured the Bosch family that Bosch is out of danger. Although a small fragment of a bullet has been lodged in his brain it poses no threat. Mckay said Bosch was conscious and could move all his body parts.

There is thus no need for surgery, however the biggest threat Bosch faces is infection, according to Mckay.

Bosch is currently recovering in the Milpark Hospital.
