They watched his house in Rhodes Street and saw him leave in a silver Chevy. They stopped the vehicle at the corner of Main and Mary Streets and searched the vehicle in the presence of the suspect. The officers noticed that a panel on the right side of the boot was loose, and it raised their suspicions.

The unit had a search warrant and accompanied the foreign national to his house. At first, the occupants of the house refused to open the door to the police, but eventually they obliged. In the house, hidden inside the sink cupboard, the police found a plastic shopping bag containing several smaller plastic bags filled with a powdered substance. A second, similar bag was found in a hidden compartment under the bath.

The suspect was arrested for dealing in drugs and will appear in court soon.
