Power outage to affect residents of two areas

Planned outage by City Power to do maintenance

City Power has sent out a public announcement to inform residents of a planned power interruption on 23 March.

The interruption will last from 6am to 12 noon, and will affect residents in Ontdekkers Park and Wilro Park.

According to City Power, the interruption is necessary in order for them to do essential maintenance work on the network. “This is part of our programme to constantly strive to provide better service to our customers,” the entity said.

Customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times, because the supply could be restored at any time.

City Power apologises for any inconvenience caused by the planned power interruptions. Should you require any further information or clarity regarding the interruption, contact the call centre on 0860 JOBURG (0860 562 874).
