Violent house-robbing gang nabbed
Trying to tie them to other violent crimes.
According to provincial police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini, the police arrested a house-robbing gang and confiscated four firearms that were in their possession during the past weekend.
It is believed the seven-member gang was involved in a spate of house robberies in Boksburg and Roodepoort. Five of the gang members was arrested in Reiger Park and two in Roodepoort.
The police are currently investigating whether the gang was also involved in other violent crimes.
