Eyewitness wants to help after hit-and-run

Anyone who wants to speak to her can contact the Record.

A woman, who wants to stay anonymous, has witnessed a hit-and-run and wants to get in touch with either the victim or the culprit.

On Wednesday, 22 February, at about 6.50am, the woman was travelling to work when she saw the accident happen close to the corner of Mouton Street and Ontdekkers Road on the side nearest Laerskool Horison. While waiting at a stop, a person driving a metallic brown/ red Volkswagen Polo knocked a cyclist off his bicycle but drove on. The eyewitness said that the victim was badly injured.

The registration number of the vehicle is known to the Record.
