Two men were left in a critical condition and two others sustained moderate injuries this weekend when the driver lost control of his vehicle at the corner of Fiona and Du Toit Streets in Horison.
ER24 paramedics as well as other services attended to the scene and found the vehicle against a tree.
The driver and a passenger, both males, were trapped inside, having suffered multiple injuries. Emergency staff extricated them by using the Jaws of Life.
They and the two other patients were treated and transported to hospital for further care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
