Residents to take necessary precautions.
Residents are urged to prepare themselves for potential heat-wave conditions.
According to the South African Weather Service, which has issued a heat-wave watch, this is due to a high-pressure system moving into the Gauteng province.
Today will see temperatures rise above 30° and the rest of the week possibly edge towards the mid-thirties.
Residents are advised to –
• hydrate themselves by drinking lots of water
• wear appropriate clothing
• limit outdoor activities
• rest
