Photos: Naughty Metro Cops caught red-handed
Behaviour will not be tolerated.
A resident, Athol Moralee, is not happy about what he caught members of the Metro Police doing.
He was visiting the Town Square shopping centre when he spotted a Metro Police vehicle parked in a bay reserved for drivers with disabilities. The members did not seem to be on official business.
The Record contacted Metro Police spokesperson Wayne Minnaar to enquire about the Metro Police’s official stance on such matters.
“We do not condone or tolerate such conduct from our members. If they parked there while executing their duties it is a different story. But they have no right to park illegally just because it is convenient for them. These officers should be investigated. The public can report such incidents on 011 490 1797,” said Minnaar.
