The suspicious behaviour of a drug dealer has led to his arrest this past Friday.
While members of the Florida Police Detectives were conducting a special operation they went to a well-known drug hotspot near the Westlake Road flats. They spotted a foreign national looking very nervous and suddenly changing the direction in which he was walking.
The police stopped him and conducted a search. In his pockets they found two zip-lock bags containing substances suspected to be drugs. They then accompanied him to his apartment as they requested to see his passport. Inside they conducted another search and found tied socks containing 13 green plastic bags, seven zip-lock plastic bags and three other zip-lock bags containing substances suspected to be drugs.
The suspect, aged 33, was arrested and detained on suspicion of dealing in drugs and possession of drugs.
