You are precious
People come into your life, either to teach you a lesson or to be a blessing.
Sometimes you meet a person and there is an immediate connection. Sometimes that person teaches you something you can carry with you forever.
I met someone like that last week. Ronel Harris is dynamic, bubbly, motivated and probably the most positive person I have ever met, but she said something that was so profound, I will never forget it.
She said life was really difficult while she was growing up, and at a very young age, she had to jump in and care for her siblings. Ronel said life knocked her down a few times, but she got up every time and today she is a successful businesswoman.
Her story was very interesting. As she described everything that had happened to her, she said she’d felt like a little stick in God’s hand, and that, although she’d fallen over a few times, she’d never fallen out of His hand.
That means that she was and still is protected, loved and cherished, despite her hardships. It was such a perfect description of what I think most people feel, regardless of who they pray to.
For me, this is something nice to hold on to.
Until next week, take care of one another.
