Update: Stabbed boy from La Salle, attackers from Princess
Boy allegedly stabbed 10 times, not nine.
The confusion over the identity of the boy who was stabbed on Tuesday, and his alma mater, has been cleared.
According to the boy’s aunt, Rebone Modiba the victim attends La Salle College and the six assailants are Princess High School pupils. The aunt also said that the doctor who treated the victim discovered 10 stab wounds and not nine as first reported. She said the family is working closely with the police to gather information.
She also said the boy is recovering well.
Both Princess High School and La Salle College could not comment at this stage.
