Update: The green Corsa and the Hanle-murder

Panic is spreading following the murder of Hanle Lategan as reports from estate agents are coming in that a green Corsa has been spotted with the occupants taking down estate agents’ numbers in front of agencies.
But Randfontein Police spokesperson, Captain Appel Ernst confirmed that the green Corsa rumour is unfounded and has nothing to do with any of the three murder cases that have residents’ tongues wagging.
“We also are appealing to the community not to post certain footage on social media as it could damage our case,” Ernst said sternly.
“We do not know where the rumour started but it seems certain media outlets just ran with it. The rumour is doing the owner of the vehicle a lot of damage,” she concluded.
Lategan, an estate agent, was found murdered in the Randfontein area on 31 May. This followed two similar murders in Krugersdorp earlier the month.
