Team SA readying for charity concert
Charity concert to be held at Skoobs Theatre of Books in Montecasino.
Team South Africa will be hosting a charity concert in celebration of Youth Day, to benefit St Mary’s Children’s Home.
The two-hour event will begin at 6.45pm for 7pm. Entrance is a donation of anything warm for the winter, including jackets, scarves and blankets.
The event will feature performances ranging from comedy, singing, dance, poetry and the likes.
“It promises to be a powerful representation of today’s youth of South Africa, while commemorating the youth of 1976,” Zanda Isaacs of Team SA said.
The event was organised in cooperation with Skoobs owner, Deborah du Plooy.
The ensemble will participate in the Arts Convention in Orlando, Florida in the United States in July. The team is 60 members strong and was selected by USA talent scout, Kim Meyers, from several hundreds of auditionees. It promises to be a show not to be missed.
