Ernst Sache, a resident of Wilro Park Retirement Village, had the honour of celebrating his 104th birthday on 3 May.
Sache had a rich life and served as a paratrooper in Adolph Hitler’s air force during the Second World War, albeit against his will. Sache, who hails from Dresden, Germany, came to South Africa in 1953. Despite his failing eyesight his still enjoys relatively good health.
