At around 7.30pm last night a taxi and a motorcycle were involved in an accident opposite Tiger Wheel and Tyre on Ontdekkers Road.
The accident was regarded as a hit-and-run since the taxi did not stop and sped off. Although the exact cause of the accident is unknown a eyewitness claims the taxi “cut the motorcycle off”. Quick Response Services (QRS) was on the scene. Upon assessing the motorcyclist they found he had multiple lacerations on his hands and knee.
The Metro Police was also on the scene for further investigation.
