Maragon teams in Argentina

Teams tour Argentina

Following months of preparation and excitement, the 2016 Maragon Sports Tour group attend an overseas trip to Argentina.

The Hockey girls, Rugby and Netball teams jetted over to the South American country.

The first Netball match was against the hosting school, San Lorenzo.

Each team sang their national anthem, playing their hearts out and walking away with a landslide victory.

A further 2 games were played at the Racing Club Villa Del Parque and the High Performance National Centre of Argentina.

Maragon won all the matches.

The rugby team played three games of which 2 games were against very strong clubs in Rosario and Paraná and one against a local school St. John’s College in Buenos Aires.

Maragon won against St Johns College 15 – 13.

They played three games of which two were against clubs in Rosaria and Paraná and one against a local school called St. Johns in Buenos Aires.
