1 April was no joke for criminals in Roodepoort.
During stop-and-search operations this past Friday police arrested 21 suspects. They were arrested for crimes that included assault GBH, dealing in drugs, housebreaking and theft, shoplifting, assault and robbery, theft and non-compliance with the Second Hand Goods Act.
The arrested suspects were detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
