Video: Thugs undeterred by German Shepherd

Residents to be on the lookout for blue Toyota.

A video posted on a crime website last week shows that homeowners should not be too reliant on their dogs for security.

According to the homeowner in Strubens Valley the CCTV footage shows how the suspects stop in front of the gate and pretend to be making a delivery, most likely to make sure no one is home. They leave but return five minutes later and attempt to break open the gate, regardless of the presence of what looks like a German Shepherd as well as a smaller dog. When they do not succeed they manage to find a side entrance.

They then try to break into the house while the dogs do nothing to stop them. For some reason the suspects are startled and they make a run for it, again past the passive dogs.
