Carnival time at Maragon

Old and young enjoyed the family day.

On Saturday, 6 March, the Maragon Private School Ruimsig’s Foundation Phase introduced another event on their social calendar – a carnival.

The academic and sport calendars were pushed aside to make time for a whole day of fun in the sun. It provided the moms and dads with some much needed downtime and the grandparents and siblings joined in the fun. The children whiled away the hours on the water slides and paddle boats, and had their hair sprayed and their faces painted. There were stalls with bits and bobs, eats and treats, sand art and more.

“We received an overwhelming amount of support and we will offer our little customers an even bigger carnival next year,” promised the school.
