Four ballet performances for charity next weekend

Set either your Friday 18, Saturday 19 or Sunday 20 March aside to support vulnerable children at Abraham Kriel Childcare by watching ballet.

That’s right, it’s that easy. Enjoy Ballet de la Jeunesse at the Roodepoort Theatre on the coming weekend and you’ll have done your part to care for 1 116 destitute children in need of education and development.

The events were organised between Joecy Pretorius and Sue de la Cordeur and the Randburg Rotary Anns to aid the cause of these law-bestowed, abused, abandoned and HIV/ Aids-infected children. The total amount raised will go to the centre.

The ballet is set around the theme of the hit Disney movie, Frozen, which makes it enjoyable for children, but older ballet lovers will also appreciate the developed techniques of the older dancers in other items.

Tickets cost R140 per person and can be purchased via Pick n Pay, online at www.roodepoorttheatre.com or www.webtickets.co.za

• Saturday 19 March at 2.30pm

• Saturday 19 March at 7.30pm

• Sunday 20 March at 2.30pm
