Maragon Private School’s Hermanus (HJ) van Staden was on the mark in a recent competition.
He participated in the South African Air Rifle Association (SAARA) SA North West Opens at Wolmaranstad on 26 and 27 February.
Van Staden placed first in the boys U/16 600 Air Rifle Sporter 10m stand. He scored an impressive 488 from 600.
He followed up that performance by grabbing another gold medal in the boys U/16 3P (prone, kneel and stand) 600 Air Rifle Sporter.
He scored 533 from 600.
