Reward: Another motorcycle stolen in Witpoortjie

Reward offered for recovery of bike.

The spate of motorcycle thefts in Witpoortjie continues.

Roy Mcrae was visiting his girlfriend at her flat in Hulley Street close to Pick n Pay when, within minutes of parking his beloved Yamaha XT 350 it disappeared. He believes it was loaded onto a bakkie due to the fact that it had been secured with a chain.

The left mirror on the bike is not the original and the licence plate reads ‘dynamite’.

The West Suburbs Roodepoort Neighbourhood Watch (WSRNW) recently estimated that an average of four motorcycles are stolen in Witpoortjie in a month. It is believed that a syndicate is committing the crimes.

Mcrae is offering a reward for the recovery of the motorcycle.
