56 arrested during stop and search operation
Suspects apprehended for various crimes.
The Police’s stop and search operation once again proved to be successful yesterday.
56 arrests were made for contempt of court order, theft, contravention of the Gauteng liquor Act, shoplifting, business robbery, intimidation, fraud, possession of dagga, possession of drugs, corruption and possession of stolen goods.
The suspects were charged and detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
