Drugs and dangerous weapons found at school

Shocking find at school.

Last Wednesday Honeydew Cluster had a special operation in the Florida policing area, which involved Florida Social Crime Prevention, Cluster Task Team, Tactical Response Team (TRT), Florida Communication, Community Policing Forum (CPF), Security Forum and blockwatch.

They started with a school search around 9.30am. Among other things, dangerous weapons such as knives, a panga and screwdrivers, four zip-lock bags with dagga and a Rizla rolling machine were confiscated from the pupils. Fake DVDs and a small bag containing aldicarb poison (two step) were confiscated at the train station.

They visited Florida Licensing Department where often members of the public are robbed of their personal belongings. In some cases loiterers pretending to assist unsuspecting people also would take their cash and disappear. One suspect, aged 26 was arrested in Fieldhouse Street for possession of dagga.
