Curves party for Baby Moses children

Party time for Baby Moses children.

Strubens Valley-based women’s gym Curves surprised the children of Baby Moses Child Sanctuary today with a Christmas party.

Last year, the gym had asked its members and staff to come with suggestions of local charities to support and Baby Moses was chosen after extensive research.

“We wanted to support a place that did not receive much attention from big corporations. This is the second time we are hosting this Christmas party for Baby Moses. Nicky Barnard from Curves makes sure that the party for the children will run smoothly and all the boxes the children will receive will put a smile on their faces,” said Curves branch manager Nathanie Hislop.

The gym members then selected a child’s name and decorate a box filled with goodies such as shoes, toys, clothing and gifts in accordance with the child’s age and gender.

Although the children will open their gifts on Christmas morning, they were clearly excited as they saw their names on the beautifully decorated boxes but had to settle for some burgers and pizza from Rant-en-Dal’s Pizza Perfect.
