Play a game with dice

Celebrate by playing a game with dice.

What do 30 Seconds, Snakes and Ladders and Monopoly have in common?

All are games that are played by using dice.

Dice were apparently invented 5 000 years ago and since then, are used frequently when playing games.

Frequently used in board games, dice are used to randomise a players moves. It also decides the distance a piece will move on a board.

Dice were originally made from the talus (ankle bone) of hoofed animals.
