No injuries as house catches fire

House burns down while owners out for the evening.

The fire department is still investigating the cause of the fire that burnt down a house in Florida.

The incident which took place on Tuesday night involved ER24, City Power and all neighbouring Community Policing Forums.

The fire was spotted by a Maraisburg and De La Rey Community Policing Forum (M&D cpf) patroller while driving through the neighbourhood and immediately called for help.

The patrol group then notified ER24 and the fire department were notified and immediately dispatched their teams.

The occupants of the house were not home however there were people staying in the outbuildings.

M&D Patrollers evacuated the tenants avoiding any injuries or loss of lives.

“The house is a total loss however we would like to thank everyone who was involved and came to assist. It was a great team effort work and a job well done. Also, our own M&D cpf team who responded and assisted with the same constant dedication they always portray,” said the cpf’s Sumaya Collins.
