Good samaritan’s vehicle taken and recovered

Police station supply's CPF with vehicle.

On Saturday 2pm a Florida man was approached by several suspects who asked for his assistance but as he was about to oblige they took his keys from him and fled with his vehicle.

The man went and opened a case at Florida Police Station and passed the information as well as the case number on to the Florida Sector Two CPF. On Sunday the CPF received information as to where the vehicle was standing at an address in Rosettenville. Along with Booysens Police Station, who provided them with a vehicle, they mobilised a team and went to said address. They found a man in his 30’s as well as the vehicle (without its registration plates) but the suspect jumped over a wall and escaped.

According to the CPF it is a syndicate operating in the area.
