BREAKING: Another truck rolls on Doreen Road
This marks the second accident on Doreen Road in a week.
At around 12.30pm today (27 August) another truck rolled on Doreen Road after colliding with a bakkie.
The truck transporting ice cream
was heading down Doreen Road towards Hendrik Potgieter while a bakkie was travelling up towards CR Swart Road. The driver allegedly lost control of the truck and it scraped against the bakkie, causing the truck to overturn. After it rolled, it again hit the bakkie.

JP Nortjé alleges the truck was speeding.
“I saw the truck speeding and realised it was out of control and was not going to make it around the corner. I tried to swerve but it hit me, said Nortjé.
No one was injured in the accident.
