The two policemen who perished in their burning vehicle on Tuesday have been identified.
EliasThabo Dibete,34, and Thulasizwe Skhahla,38, both died in the horror accident while their colleague Constable Lesiba Chris Thubakgale,34, is in a serious condition in Milpark Hospital.
Commissioner Riah Phiyega who visited the police station and the families said the contribution the officers who died made, will always be remembered.
In the meanwhile a memorial service for the two men will take place tomorrow morning at 9am at Liberty Church, 51 Celeste Crescent in Discovery.
The driver of the BMW that crashed into the police vehicle will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates Court today on charges of culpable homicide.
