A woman sustained minor injuries following a pedestrian accident on Ontdekkers Road near Golf Club Terrace in Florida Park yesterday.
According to Netcare 911, the 26-year-old woman was trying to cross the road when she was knocked over by a motor vehicle.
The ambulance service arrived on scene and found the woman sitting on the centre median of the roadway.
After Netcare 911 paramedics assessed the pedestrian, they found she had sustained minor to moderate injuries during the accident.
She was treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
