Florida hosts its own Mardi Gras

Today (Saturday 7 March) residents, charities and organisations of Florida took to the streets to celebrate their suburb.

A big part of their focus was on the Florida Lake which they feel should be better maintained and enjoyed by everyone.

At the heart of the project was the On Florida team including Caleb Finn and Elaine Whittal.

The event started out with a march through Goldman Street and Westlake Road and ended on the Florida Lake grounds.
