Well done Joburg Water

I would like to compliment Joburg Water on their speedy service on Thursday 23 October.

There was a valve leak from the water meter on the pavement that caused clean water to run down the road, going to waste. I contacted them the morning and at 6pm they were at my property to inspect to see where the problem was. A big storm was brooding and I didn’t think they would be able to work in the rain and dark. I was proven wrong.

They had to go back to their depot to arrange for an excavator. They arrived at my property at 7pm to start with the excavating to find where the water leak was. In the dark and within half an hour they found the broken valve, fixed it and by 8pm they left my property. Another team arrived to close the hole on the pavement to enable me to have access in and out of my garage. By 9.30pm the hole was closed and tidied up and the team left. So, thank you Joburg Water. I commend you on a job done well and speedily.
