Western Line Dancers aid while having fun

Funds raised on the day went to the HG Church in Culembeeck.

The Western Line Dancers held another fundraiser on Saturday 23 August at the NG Church.

The day was filled with lots of laughter as the ladies swinged their hips this way and that. The Line Western Line Dance team is made up of uniformed ladies from the age of eight years to 60 years. Line dance is a choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group op people dance in one or more lines or rows, all facing either each other or in the same direction and executing the steps at the same time.

Funds raised on the day went to the HG Church in Culembeeck to support families where both parents no longer have the means to put food on the table. The Western Line Dances have conjointly always been fund raising for a children’s home in Bronkhorstspruit for a couple of years.

With the support of their dance team and the regular support of their sponsors, they have managed to make a huge difference in the children’s circumstances.
