Miss Earth SA finalist visits Princess Primary

Princess Primary School wishes Tayla Robinson good luck.

Miss Earth South Africa semi finalist Tayla Robinson visited Princess Primary School recently in light of her Dear Switch project.

She did a presentation on sustainable energy and safety for the Grade 4 pupils, where after they had to write a letter to Switch, describing what they have learned and how they would go about conserving energy in their homes and communities, as well as making sure energy is used safely. Pupils also were requested to do a drawing demonstrating various ways of conserving energy and consuming energy safely.

Princess Primary School is happy as the letters and drawings were of very high standard and it is evident that pupils were attentive during the presentation.

Pupils and teachers were very excited and honored to host such a special guest and everyone wanted to meet and shake Robinson’s hand.

“This is the start of a new relationship between Miss Earth SA and Princess Primary School and we are proud to play an important role in supporting Robinson in her quest to be crowned Miss Earth SA,” said vice principal of the school, Mr Gary George.

Princess Primary School wishes Robinson good luck in the Miss Earth SA pageant, which will take place later in September.
