Westview Clinic spends 67 minutes in Dobsonville

The volunteers enjoyed the company of the young children most.

The Westview Clinic spent their Mandela Day with young children at a crèche in Dobsonville.

A group of staff members and even patients volunteered for 67 minutes at Ebenezer Crèche in an informal area in Dobsonville, said public relations manager Anthea Barriel.

The group volunteered their time by painting a mural for the crèche and spending time with the children.

After upgrades were done, all in attendance first enjoyed some fat cakes and mince, and sweets afterwards.

“Some of our patients went along and assisted us with some of the painting we had done,” said Barriel.

“Staff enjoyed games with the kids and really enjoyed painting their little faces.”
