Gospel singer from eMbalenhle dreams big
Nkosi said his dream is to share the stage with famous artists after the country is declared Covid-19 free.
eMBALENHLE – He is known by his performing name Dr SS Nkosi and after recording his album he is now also referred to as Thandaza konke kuzolunga, which means “pray all will be fine”.
His real name is Smanga Nkosi and he is an artist from Mandela Section in eMbalenhle.
He began singing in local choirs until he decided to go solo and recorded his first album. This album did not work out well.
Nkosi then met a well known musician from Gauteng two years ago and he then recorded his second album.
This was well-marketed as it is available on all music stores.
Nkosi said he was going to work harder this year if it wasn’t for Covid-19,because he cannot be booked for live performances.
He hopes his music will be promoted as it is available anywhere including onYouTube and Facebook downloads.

He is currently writing a song about the coronavirus.
