Station commander of Carolina Police wishes residents a Merry Christmas

“Police patrols visibility will be intensified and anyone who will be found contravening the law will be dealt with accordingly.”

The station commander of Carolina Police, Lieut Col MJ Mashinini wished the Carolina community a wonderful and safe festive season.

He also thanked the community, other stakeholders and especially members of the Community Policing Forum and Sector Forum for helping them in the fight against crime.

He requested community members to behave during the festive season and not to drink and drive, but rather to stay at home when they are intoxicated.

“The police will be active to ensure that everyone who resides in Carolina or drive through the town is safe.

“Police patrol visibility will be intensified and anyone who will be found contravening the law will be dealt with accordingly.”

He added that people should not over indulge and to be vigilant when visiting liquor outlets.

“We still need to see them and fight crime together in 2020, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.”
