Enter for the 30th Sasol Marathon online before 11 February

This event is a qualifier for the Two Oceans and Comrades Marathons

SECUNDA – The 30th annual Sasol Secunda Marathon takes place on 16 February.

The starting point is at the Sasol Recreation Club in Secunda.

This popular race is moderate in marathon terms, an easy first qualifier for the Comrades Marathon and the Two Oceans.

Runners can enter the 42,2km, the 21,1km or the 10km race. There will also be a fun run of 4,5km.

Pre-entries for all the races and categories close on 11 February.

Late entries can still be done on Friday, 15 February from 2pm to 7pm, as well as from 4am on the race day, but you will then be asked for a R10 administrative fee and you will not receive a T-shirt.

The starting time for all the races are 6am, except the fun run that will begin 15 minutes later.

The cut-off time is 12pm for all the events. The prize-giving for the 10km and walk will be at 8am. The winners of the 21km will receive their prizes at 9.30pm and the 42,2km race prize-giving is at 11.30am.

All finishers will receive medals.
