Thandeka empowers models
You are invited to the one-on-one modelling workshop with Thandeka Mathibela.
BETHAL – The Thandeka Mathibela Entertainment Company Pty Ltd presents Keeping up With Thandeka Mathibela, a one-on-one modelling workshop that will be held at Invictus Building, 47 Vuyisile Street in Bethal on Saturday, 1 October.
It begins at 9am and the entrance fee is R100.
Lessons will be offered for junior models, teen models and plus size models.
Participants will be scouted for photo shoots, Z-cards and modelling contracts.
Ms Mathibela said parents are welcome to attend the workshop with their kids.
The aim of the workshop is to educate and empower local models.
Ms Mathibela saw a gap in the modelling industry and that many local girls are interested in modelling, but they do not have enough information about it.
“This workshop seeks to give clarity and understanding.
“We encourage potential models to attend the workshop that will benefit them.”
Ms Mathibela was a Top 12 finalist at the crowning of the Miss Mpumalanga 2015 Beauty Pageant, she was chosen for the International Talent Showcase which affords models, actors, musicians and dancers the opportunity to perform before Kim Meyers from America.
She was also a Miss Mamelodi Sundowns Mpumalanga 2013 semi finalist.
Ms Masthibela currently does ramp modelling full time and has taken part in various big ramps shows, such as the Soweto Fashion Show.
