More than 100 athletes at parkrun in Standerton

Altogether five personal best times were achieved and five first-timers arrived for the 5km-route.

Some participants at the 123rd parkrun on Saturday, January 22 at the Standerton River Park wore tutus in celebration of the number games on the calendar.

Altogether 101 athletes were out of the blocks at 8:00.

Lydia de Bruyn completed her 100th parkrun in a time of 56 min 49 sec, while Mariët van Wyk completed her 50th parkrun in 43 min 10 sec.

Chantelle van Tonder, Charl van Wyk, Charlene Geyser, Elmien Vermaak, Frans Vermaak, Jennifer Naidoo, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Jean Roberston, Patricia Mudau, Preyanka Dorasamy,

Renette de Sousa, Ruwan Vermaak, Séan Jansen van Rensburg and Sylvy Moodley facilitated a smooth event.
