Senzo wins Graceland’s IPS golf competition

Ardent golfers had to play it out in windy conditions, with wind speeds reaching 23km by Saturday, 27 March, mid morning.

The golfing greens were busy over the last weekend of March at Graceland Hotel, Casino and Country Club seeing many golfing events take place.

The league results for Graceland for the weekend are as follows:

In the Spring Chicken League Graceland A beat Middelburg B with a final score of 6-2.

The Graceland B drew with Standerton with a tie score of 4-4.

The Old Toppies Graceland A team lost against Greenside with a score 2-4.

Graceland B also lost against Standerton with a score 1-5.

Graceland also hosted their IPS competition on Saturday, 27 March .

Senzo Shabalala took the winnings with a score of 39.

Second place went to Seis Prinsloo on 37 (C/O) and third place went to Lulu Khumalo on 37 (C/O).

Johan Hanekom came in fouth place with a score of 36.

The KFC competition was also held at Graceland with Lulu Khumalo taking first place with a score of 21.

Second place went to Senzo Shabalala scoring 20.

Third place winner was Graham Cupido finishing on 19.

Taking forth place was Teboho Leepile, 17 points (C/O),

Fifth was Peet van Zyl on 17 points (C/O) and on sixth place Avi Ramanath on 17 points (C/O).
