Pool club in Bethal honours top players
GC Pienaar was honoured as the Most Spirited Player of the Year and Jo van den Berg received the award as the Players’ Player of the Year.
BETHAL – Jean Vos won the trophy as Player of the Year at the Da Vinci’s Pool Club award ceremony and annual general meeting held on Sunday, 6 December.
GC Pienaar was honoured as the Most Spirited Player of the Year and Jo van den Berg received the award as the Players’ Player of the Year.
Eben Swanepoel received an accolade as Top-ranked League Player” for his accomplishments during the provincial league before Covid -9.
Jackie van den Berg received recognition as the Most Developed Player of the Year, Wikus van Heerden as Most Dedicated and Renaldo van Zyl as Rookie of the Year.
The players also received certificates for their personal attributes. This provided some fun and great laughs.
Some of the titles included “Brag Pitt”, “most absent”, “mad cow” and “60 seconds”.
The executive committee thanked all the players for their contribution towards the success of the club during this year.
