Ermelo Country Club hosts 4-ball alliance competition

Chris Landman, Piet Swanepoel, Enlin Neveling and Louw Vellema walked away winners of the competition.

Golfers participated in a four-ball alliance club competition at Ermelo Country Club on 31 October.

According to Ms Janice Swanepoel, committee representative of Ermelo Country Club, a total of 23 golfers competed.

Chris Landman, Piet Swanepoel, Enlin Neveling and Louw Vellema walked away as winners of the competition.

They achieved a total of 140 points.

Ermelo Country Club hosted an IPS club competition on 28 October and a total of 16 players competed.

The winner of the IPS was Tobie Alexander with a score of 38 points.

Herman Matthee took a second place, not too far behind with 37 points.

Mr Jappie Koegelenberg, manager of Ermelo Country Club, said: “The Phoenix Rotary Club’s golf day will be taking place on 6 November, no social games will be allowed.”

Ermelo Country Club will also be hosting a monthly medal mug club competition on 7 November.
