SECUNDA – The annual Cosmos 3-in-1 MTB Challenge will take place at Camp Oasis at Lake Umuzi Waterfront on Saturday, 28 March.

This endurance race consists of three races, a 68km race in the morning, a 33km race in the afternoon and a lap race to end it off.

The organisers said this year there will be more than just cycling. It will also be a fun-filled day for the whole family.

There will be entertainment for children in the form of jumping castles, face painting and balloons.

Cyclists and their families can, between the races, relax in the swimming pool and the children may also play on jungle gym at Camp Oasis.

Those who enter the race will have free entrance at Aqua Zone Waterpark for one day.

There will also be food stalls on the day of the race and a motivational speaker, a paraplegic triathlon athlete, will be the master of ceremony.

The fun will kick off on Friday evening, 27 March at Eish!! Restaurant with live entertainment.

Cyclists also stand a chance to win one of two Eagle Silverback Solar bicycles worth R18 000 each in the lucky draw.
