SECUNDA – Golf players competed in the 2020 nett league at Graceland Casino, Hotel and Country Club last weekend.
Graceland’s Chickens B team, consisting of RJ Ferreira (captain), Jacques Cloete, Stefan Roux, Pieter Odendaal, Edmond Koch, Arno Jordaan, Henri Engelbrecht and Johan Jansen van Rensburg, played against Greenside and lost five to three.
The Chickens A team, consisting of Ace Mlambo (captain), Lester Fynn, Riaan Burger, Jacques Siebrits, Jabu Radebe, TK Madonsela, Cosmos Nene and Johan Combrinck, played in eMalahleni (Witbank) against Witbank B and beat them five to three.
The Graceland’s senior A team, consisting of Daniel Nyathela (captain), Stefan de Waal, Flip Cloete, Danie Kruger, Chris Mahlangu and Graham Cupido, played against Greenside A and won six to 0.
Graceland’s senior B team, consisting of Johan Hanekom (captain), JJ van Wyk, Martin Smalberger, Jannie Pretoruis, Peet van Zyl and Andre Blom, beat Greenside B with four to two.
