Aldante-dancers receive medals after competition
Different styles of dancing such as bhangra, jazz, slow dance, hip-hop, salsa and Latin were judged.
Dancers of Aldante Dance School recently took part in a Star Championship and achieved a total of 21 places.
Different styles of dancing such as bhangra, jazz, slow dance, hip-hop, salsa and Latin were judged.
The individual results are:
Anica Oosthuizen – bhangra (first), contemporary (second), jazz (fourth), slow dance (fifth) and free style (third)
Chanelle Britz – bhangra (first), contemporary (fourth), jazz (fourth), slow dance (fifth), free style (sixth), hip-hop (third), solo salsa (second) and solo Latin (fourth)
Zoë Lecordier – bhangra (fifth), contemporary (fifth), jazz (first), free style (sixth), solo salsa (sixth) and solo Latin (second)
Cherise van der Merwe – solo salsa (fifth) and solo Latin (fifth)
