Participants and volunteers begin the morning on healthy note

Standerton’s parkrun is a free event where volunteers help to facilitate smooth running over the 5km course.

A total of 73 participants were out of the blocks at the Standerton River Park on Saturday, 27 July and no less than seven personal best times were recorded.

The weekly parkrun has become an important event for both runners and walkers to exercise, join the camaraderie and see whether a milestone can be reached.
