Pajamarun at Standerton River Park up and about

As usual, volunteers were on hand to facilitate the smooth running of athletes of which some went gingerly over the bridge and back, taking into account the warning beforehand about slippery conditions.

The second annual pajamarun of the parkrun proved not to be a sleepy affair, when 66 participants were promptly out of the blocks at the Standerton River Park on 6 July.

A total of two personal best times was registered at this weekly event that is free of charge.

Brendan Archer, Charl van Wyk, Chrisjan Swart, Deon Lee, Deen Lee, Hugh Robertson, Jasmyn Archer, Jennifer Naidoo, Johan van Zyl, Koos Potgieter, Leandri van Wyk, Natanya Roscherr and Priscilla Ramdharee took their posts at strategic points and waited till the tailwalker signalled all was clear before returning to the finish line.
