Inner City beat Blue Cranes 2-0
The match of the weekend was the derby between Juventus FC and Sakhile Express FC, occupying first and second place respectively.
Matches in the Lekwa Football League took place at various grounds in Standerton on 17 and 18 November.
Venues such as the Stanton Grounds, Basement Grounds, Thuthukani Stadium and Ellispark in Rooikoppen hosted the different encounters.
The results were:
Inner City FC beat Blue Cranes FC 2 – 0, United Killers FC beat Amasokolara FC 3 – 0, Festive FC lost 0 -1 to African Eagles FC, Cosmos Gunners FC beat Peacelovers FC 1 – 0, Invisible Kings FC beat Flamingo FC 2 – 1 and Taifa FC lost 1 – 5 to Holmdene FC.
